As the Silicon Valley trip continue to comes closer and closer, I can only begin to feel excitement about going somewhere new and explore the vast sea of technology that is located in Silicon Valley. I am looking forward to learning from professionals to small start up companies to see what it takes to survive in such a rapid changing environment. I am hoping we can explore parts the famous Stamford University, Berkeley and many other highly recognized academical schools. I hope we can just see as much as we can and learn as much as we can during the time we have in Silicon Valley. Russell Hancock, made a great description of Silicon Valley in the Article, Silicon Valley really is more innovate, study finds written by Lisa Krieger.
Hancock explains that in Silicon Valley, "We have a habitat here that creates a supportive environment." I believe this is very true based on the way the companies are set up and how laid back the management behind these companies have become. I personally think that when they talk about how when start up companies aren't named after a founders name, they fair off better is true. I believe that when you think of names that are outside of the box and unique, it almost defines a who new brand of a uniqueness. Reading the article more, we can see that graduates who decide to start up their own companies get the support by "having the Valley supercharge the effects the delivery as promise."
Overall, I will have to say his will be a fun trip and I will learn a lot about the companies located in the Valley. I will learn some of the trades it takes to take ideas and bring them to a successful end after investing time and money but most importantly, investing myself.
